LAPPN has played a pivotal role in strengthening healthcare services in the United States and in Liberia. Similar to past efforts, in January 2025, the organization made a generous donation to the Omega Community Clinic in Liberia, a vital health facility serving underprivileged communities in Liberia. This financial support has enabled the clinic to improve patient care, procure essential medical supplies, and expand its services.
Additionally, LAPPN has adopted small community clinics in Liberia, providing financial and material assistance to enhance healthcare accessibility. Through these initiatives, many patients have received critical medical attention that they might not have otherwise accessed.
LAPPN has also supported mission trips to Liberia, enabling healthcare professionals to provide direct medical care, train local providers, and contribute to sustainable healthcare solutions.
LAPPN is deeply committed to educating communities about health and wellness. In January 2025, LAPPN successfully organized a health symposium and fair at Harvest Intercontinental Church in Baltimore, Maryland. The event provided free health screenings, medical consultations, and educational sessions on preventive healthcare.
One attendee shared: “I learned so much at the health fair! The providers took the time to explain my health concerns, and I left with valuable information on how to manage my condition.”
Continuing its mission of community service, LAPPN is hosting a Health Fair in Minnesota at the Coon Rapids YMCA on Saturday, May 10, 2025. This event will offer:
Through events like this, LAPPN ensures that individuals and families receive the necessary support and guidance to maintain their well-being.
LAPPN remains steadfast in its mission to empower healthcare providers and improve community health. By building partnerships, supporting medical missions, and investing in healthcare initiatives, the organization continues to make a lasting impact.
